Parking downtown is free on nights after 5pm and all day on weekends. However, you will need to pay for metered spots along the street and spots in parking ramps during weekdays between the hours of 9am-5pm.

Good news – Falls Park is FREE to enter all year long, including the entrance to the five-story observation tower. You can explore the park for an entire afternoon if you would like. Guests are allowed into the park between the hours of 5am – midnight, with parking lots available on the east, north, and west areas of the park.

Perhaps you aren’t aware, but South Dakota is most commonly known for chislic when it comes to food. So what exactly is chislic? We have a variety of facilities to suit your needs based on particular sports. The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is a 12,000 seat venue that can be used for basketball, volleyball, hockey and more. Additional sporting fields and facilities include Yankton Trail Park for soccer, Sherman Park, Harmodon Park, Sanford Diamonds, and Sioux Falls Stadium for softball and baseball, Scheels IcePlex for hockey, Howard Wood Field for football and track & field, and the Sanford Pentagon is a multi-use facility that can seat up to 3,200 people.
