Riverview Pumpkin Festival: Frank & Jesse James Day + Haunted Trail

Celebrate the 150th anniversary of the James Younger Gang's escape through South Dakota at Riverview Pumpkin Festival! Watch two live reenactments featuring Frank and Jesse James, Saturday, October 10 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm, plus a historical display all day with period artifacts, maps, and stories from the real 1876 escape route.

Come early for a full festival lineup: the PUMPKIN CANNON, apple cannons, gemstone mining, the corn pit, inflatables, kiddie train rides, yard games, free hayrides, food, live music, beer, wine, crafts, treats, and 30+ varieties of pumpkins. Face painting is available as a paid add-on.

Stay late for the Haunted Trail, back for its first night of the season on Saturday, October 10! Guided and scared up by Canton High School FFA student volunteers, with proceeds benefiting the FFA chapter. Trail hours: 7:00pm to 9:30pm. Kids under 35 inches are free.
