What's New for Group Travel in Sioux Falls

SculptureWalk

Downtown Sioux Falls has welcomed 80 new sculptures for this year’s installation. SculptureWalk continues to be an iconic part of Downtown Sioux Falls, with both residents and visitors alike looking forward to seeing the new incredible works of art each year.

Pavilion Performance Series

The Washington Pavilion has announced the Broadway shows in its 2025-26 Pavilion Performance Series. The six shows are Back to the Future: The Musical, Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Musical, Mrs. Doubtfire, Moulin Rouge: The Musical, Clue, and Meredith Wilson's The Music Man.

The Steel District

The Steel District is a $200 million development in downtown Sioux Falls that includes a hotel, office space, condos, five restaurants, shopping, and more.

Canopy by Hilton

Canopy by Hilton is a 216-room, seven-story hotel that is part of The Steel District. The hotel, which opened in December 2024, features over 16,000 square feet of meeting space. Within The Steel District are several restaurants and viewing areas of the Big Sioux River.

Lion Exhibit

Lions have returned to the Great Plains Zoo in 2024 for the first time in 30 years! The exhibit includes multiple outdoor yards with a playful habitat for the lions, in addition to multiple indoor and outdoor viewing spaces for the public.

Jacobson Plaza

Adjacent to The Steel District is Jacobson Plaza, which features an ice ribbon for skating during the winter months and roller skating during the summer. Jacobson Plaza also includes an all-inclusive playground, splash pad, dog park, and The Lodge Bar & Grill.
