Let God Do the Heavy Lifting with Alan Barnhart
About the Speaker
Join God As CEO as we welcome Alan Barnhart, Chairman and former President & CEO of Barnhart Crane & Rigging, for an impactful conversation on faith and leadership on June 11 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Alan learned business from the ground up in his family’s steel-erecting company in Memphis, Tennessee. After studying civil engineering, he felt called to missions just as his parents invited him and his brother, Eric, to take over the family business. God’s answer was clear: his full-time ministry would be the business world. Over nearly four decades as President and CEO, Alan Barnhart helped grow Barnhart Crane & Rigging into one of the largest heavy lift and transport companies in the U.S., with more than 40 locations nationwide, channeling millions each year into gospel work. In a bold act of faith, the brothers gave 100% of the business to charity, including donating the company to the National Christian Foundation in 2007. Alan and his wife, Katherine, have six children and reside in Tennessee. His life and leadership inspire others to steward their families, businesses, and resources with faith, courage, and generosity.
