Weekend Getaway: Sanford International

The Sanford International has been in Sioux Falls for several years now and has gotten bigger and better each year. This PGA TOUR Champions event will take place September 14-17 at the Minnehaha Country Club. The event will feature some the best PGA TOUR golfers aged 50 and above.

Golf Courses

Watching all this golf will have you wanting to tee-off yourself. Squeeze in a round of golf at one of our area courses. Play a full 18 or you can even play a quick 9 on the par-30 course at Kuehn Golf Course.

If you’re looking to hit a few balls but in a more relaxed setting, then Great Shots has your name written all over it. Play one of the interactive games as you swing from this three-story golf complex.

Jake Owen Concert

Country music star, Jake Owen, will be performing a concert at the Sanford Pentagon on September 15 as part of the Sanford International to kick-off the event. You won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind concert on the field. Plus, don't miss an opening from golf legend, John Daly!

Falls Park

You can’t visit Sioux Falls without seeing the city’s namesake, Falls Park! Listen to the water rushing over the rocks as you take in the scenery. Be sure to go to the top of the five-story observation tower for an incredible view.

Enjoy an incredible meal at 22TEN for one of your dinners in Sioux Falls. This upscale eatery on the southwest side of the city has quickly become a favorite for many residents. The Elk Ravioli is to die for!
