Steel District Development

Plans are underway for a $200 million development in downtown Sioux Falls known as the Steel District. The development will include a Canopy by Hilton hotel, convention space, apartments, condominiums, parking ramp, as well as office and retail space. A restaurant group out of Minneapolis that owns several very successful restaurants there has agreed to bring three new restaurant concepts to the Steel District.

The Steel District development is near Levitt at the Falls, Falls Park, and the soon-to-be Jacobson Plaza.

Developers hope to break ground in August to begin working on the various phases of the project.
