Alcove

Alcove is a dynamic artist residency and creative space in downtown Sioux Falls’ Steel District, created by the Washington Pavilion as an extension of its mission to entertain, educate and enrich the community. The space serves as a hub for artists to create, exhibit, teach and connect directly with the public through rotating residencies, workshops, exhibitions and community experiences.

Located in the heart of the Steel District near Levitt at the Falls and Jacobson Plaza, Alcove showcases local and regional artists while giving visitors the opportunity to experience creativity in action. Designed to inspire connection and collaboration, the space offers an ever-changing mix of artwork, hands-on experiences and artistic programming in one of downtown Sioux Falls’ most vibrant neighborhoods.
