Soren Staff and Beau Janke, co-founders of the folk rock and Americana outfit Them Coulee Boys, met as camp counselors in northern Wisconsin in 2013. Their weekend song swapping of folk and classic country tunes led to original songs that grew to include Jens Staff on mandolin, Neil Krause on electric bass, and Stas Hable on drums.
