Summer Concert Series: Maggie in the Meantime

Maggie in the Meantime is made up of four musicians who have been playing since they were children: Magdalena Modzelewska, Darrel Fickbohm, Blaine Fickbohm, and Jeff Paul. The group is a distilled blend of storytelling, Celtic, folk, and ballad. In the course of the evening one hears some familiar tunes and some new. Many countries, like Scotland and Ireland, still listen to the same music from generation to generation—it unites them. We, in America, have gotten away from that kind of popular appeal, but recent trends in folk revival have been reclaiming lost ground. We’ve found that nearly everyone has a good time at our shows,

The Old Courthouse Museum Summer Concert Series features local and regional performers on Fridays from noon to 1 p.m. The series runs June through August. The concerts are held in the plaza behind the Old Courthouse Museum, but will be moved indoors in the case of rain. Admission is free. Bring your lunch and enjoy the show!
