The Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill plays a crucial role in the efficient and responsible handling of waste for Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities. Waste haulers are licensed to transport waste from homes to the landfill. Residents can also bring their own loads and receive one free annual pass.
Mueller Pallets, or the Wood Hound Waste Wood Drop-Off is the region's leader in pallets and wood recycling. Mueller Pallets, LLC is a second generation, family-owned business founded in 1980 by Arlin Mueller. The company prides itself on being a high-touch, service business focused on quality assurance and excellence. Now, with nearly 40 full-time employees, the business has expanded to a 40,000 square foot facility serving customers over a 350-mile radius.

Directions: The Regional landfill is 5 miles west of Ellis & 41st St intersection. If registering as a group, please consider carpooling as parking is limited on site. Mueller Pallets is one mile away from the landfill (46349 267th St, Hartford, SD 57033) that participants will drive to during the tour time.
