Experience traditional African drumming and dance heritage with COMPAS teaching artist Christian Adeti and his group Titambe West African Dance Ensemble. This performance group has an impressive repertoire of authentic drumming, dances, music, storytelling, and cultural teachings. Composed of artists originating from all over the world, including Ghana, Liberia, Kenya, Trinidad, and America, each Titambe performance is a celebration of diversity and unity. Christian Adeti’s performance is part of the African Music Day at the Levitt on Saturday, August 5th and is presented in collaboration with the Kunama Cultural Festival.
