Earth Day at The Empire Mall

To celebrate Earth Day, The Empire Mall is hosting a fun event to help families learn about ways they can practice sustainability and support the environment. The event will be held in Center Court from 11AM-2PM and include fun games, eco-friendly crafts, snacks and more.

Additionally, we will be accepting food donations April 15-25 in Center Court which will benefit local nonprofit, Feeding South Dakota. Donations may include non-perishable items. Suggested food donation items include store-bought canned vegetables.

See below for a list of other needed items. For safety reasons, please do not donate any opened, glass, homemade or baby food items.

Most Needed Food Items:
- Cereal (hot & cold)
- Boxed meals (i.e. hamburger, chicken & tuna helpers)
- Canned chicken and tuna
- Canned pasta and sauces
- Dry pasta and rice
- Canned vegetables
- Canned fruits
- Soups and stews
- Peanut butter and jelly
