It’s time for science, art and stars after hours! Experience the Kirby Science Discovery Center, Visual Arts Center and Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium during our adults-only (21+) black hole-themed Cosmos and Cocktails event!

Run wild in three floors of interactive science exhibits, marvel at artwork in eight art galleries, sip on tasty cocktails and so much more — without the kiddos!

This exciting evening includes:

  • Unlimited access to the Kirby Science Discovery Center, including NEW interactive exhibits in the Discovery Den
  • Unlimited access to the Visual Arts Center, including NEW exhibitions of beautiful depictions of the Heartland and abstract interpretations of nature as well as your last chance to see the traveling exhibition Your Place in the Universe
  • A showing of a NEW planetarium film titled “Into the Void: The Mysteries of Black Holes” in the Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium at 6:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.
  • Specialty cocktails, wine and beer available for purchase
  • Gourmet ice cream, fresh popcorn, wraps, sandwiches, candy and cold beverages available at Parlour!

Catch exclusive showings of a NEW planetarium show titled “Into the Void: The Mysteries of Black Holes” in the Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This show explores black holes, the strangest and most powerful class of stellar objects, how they're made, their role in the universe and how they challenge our understanding of them!
