95th Annual Howard Wood Dakota Relays

The Howard Wood Dakota Relays has experienced phenomenal growth since the first one-day event was held May 4, 1923. Over the years it has become one of South Dakota’s premier athletic events.

The 95th running of the Relays is scheduled for May 1-2. More than 3,000 middle school, high school, college and university student athletes will be competing. The dedication of hundreds of volunteers, the financial support of area businesses and the outstanding facilities makes the Howard Wood Dakota Relays the meet of choice for many area track fans.
