The annual Pumpkin Festival at the Country Apple Orchard is an event that many Sioux Falls families look forward to every year. This festival is fun for both kids and adults to enjoy things such as picking your perfect pumpkin from the patch, pumpkin painting, inflatables, the Giant Pumpkin Contest, and a variety of delicious food. Join the fun October 10th-11th.
Get your Halloween festivities started by taking your kids to ZooBoo at the Great Plains Zoo October 23rd-25th. Explore the Zoo while making stops throughout your journey to collect candy to enjoy. Don't forget to dress in your best costume!
Haunted Corn Maze
You won't want to miss out on the Haunted Corn Maze October 30th-31st at the Heartland Country Corn Maze. Bring a flashlight and find your way through the maze at night. There may or may not be some spooky encounters along the way.
Get your holiday season started with a trip to Falls Park for Winter Wonderland. Starting November 20 and running through January 3, 2021, Winter Wonderland is a time when Falls Park is full of holiday lights and decorations. Walk through the park and view everything from the top of the five-story Visitor Information Center, or do a quick drive through to catch a glimpse of everything.
29th Annual Parade of Lights
Bring your family to downtown Sioux Falls November 27 for the annual Parade of Lights. This event has become a tradition for many families to kick-off the holiday season. Tip: be sure to arrive early to get a good viewing spot!
