Since 1857, Sioux Falls has been creating a history rich in cultural heritage. From our indoor museums to outdoor parks, our city honors where we've been through a diverse collection of historical exhibits and events. We have museums dedicated to military history, natural and animal habitats, and health care, to name a few.

Travel tip: Sioux Falls is filled with dozens of historical markers throughout the city. Take time to stop and read these markers when you travel to enrich your visit.
