Sioux Falls Stampede Hockey Club

The Sioux Falls Stampede have been in the United States Hockey League (USHL) since 1998. The USHL is the premier junior hockey league in the United States, with players coming from all over the world vying to earn college scholarships and exposure to the National Hockey League. The Stampede have placed more than 95 percent of their players into NCAA Div I college hockey programs. The team has produced 18 NHL Draft picks (three first-round picks), sixteen former players have or are playing in the NHL, with two winning the Stanley Cup. The Stampede, winners of the Anderson Cup (2006) and Clark Cup (2007 & 2015), play approximately 30 home games annually at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center from October through mid-April. The "Herd", the Stampede's loyal fan base has sold out the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center and continues to set USHL attendance records.
