The Country Apple Orchard's annual Fall Festival will be held each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during September and October. Kids will enjoy the wide range of activities like large jumping pillows, hay bale maze, petting zoo, apple cannon range, plus many more. 13th Annual Downtown Riverfest

The 13th Annual Downtown Riverfest on September 19 along the Big Sioux River Greenway near Cherapa Place in Downtown Sioux Falls will be a day filled with live music performances, entertainment, vendors, and more.

Sioux Falls Marathon

Hundreds of runners from across the country will be competing in the annual Sioux Falls Marathon on September 20. The scenic course winds throughout the city and passes through many landmark spots like Falls Park.

Oktoberfest Celebrations

Mark your calendar for these upcoming Oktoberfest celebrations in September where you will find German food, beer, games, music, and plenty more entertainment. On September 26 you will have three options to choose from with the Holiday Inn City Centre holding its 3rd annual Stacks & Steins, Fernson Downtown holding its 2nd annual Oktoberfest, and the Great Plains Zoo holding an Oktoberfest adult night.

Cinch Playoffs: The Governor's Cup

Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association athletes will compete for the Governor’s Cup and more than a $1.5 million purse September 25-27 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, making the Cinch Playoffs the richest rodeo in South Dakota history.
